DOHaD Workshop on "Obesity and Physical Activity in Children"
Calicut, India.

Rapid weight gain and obesity during childhood are risk factors for type 2 diabetes, hypertension and coronary heart disease in adult life. This 2-day workshop will be held in conjunction with the annual meeting of Sneha-India and aims to explore the scale of the problem of childhood obesity, the underlying causes, what can be done about it, and the role of physical activity.
